So yesterday in one of my classes we were looking at the topic of critical regionalism, and it brought to me the work of architect Luis Barragán. I just love the colors he uses in his buildings especially on the Egerstorm (Mexico)[above], they just feel so relaxing, dreamy, and happy. Personally, I find they remind me the work of the post-impressionist painter Paul Gauguin.
